Although not strictly speaking something that is included in my wedding packages, I do like to try and put together an online wedding album for my clients. Issuu is an absolutely amazing web-site I use to do this and def worth checking out whatever your into, there’s stacks of online magazines, portfolios and whole lot more. With issuu you simply design the album as you want in your design program of choice (I like Indesign) and then export it as a pdf file. You then open up issuu, upload your file and it does the rest, automatic page turning, full screen navigation the works. Anyway enough from me here’s the album

Lloyd Cole Surf Academy

Three time Welsh surf champ Lloyd Cole organized a coaching weekend at Llangennith, Gower with guest coaches Russel Winter and Rob Barber. Russ is the first ever, European to surf in the elite ASP top 44 is widely regarded as being the most successful surfer ever to come out of the UK. Rob Barber is body boarding in the UK, enough said basically. It was a great weekend, and everyone on the course not only made some solid progress but had a great time as well. The whole weekend was filmed and each evening the crew got video analysis from their respective coaches. I was on hand to photograph the whole weekend with two purposes, to get Lloyd some new pubicity material and also to get loads of surf photos of the team for them to keep as well. All the guys and girls swagged themselves a goodie bag and a dvd with all the footage and stills.

Killing for Company

Last Thursday Killing for Company played their first gig since the tragic passing of drummer Stuart Cable. The boys put on an awesome high energy performance that was really well received by the crowd. These are some of my favourites from the gig. Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams

Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury returned to his home town of Swansea this month where he was given the “freedom of the city”.

Funeral of bombardier Samuel Robinson

The funeral of Bombardier Samuel Robinson, 5th Regiment Royal Artillery, which took place at the end of July in his home town church of St Mary’s Carmarthen. Bombardier Robinson was killed in an explosion whilst on foot patrol in the Sangin district of Helmand province on Thursady July 8th.

Photographing funerals is never a nice thing to do, however I do feel it is important that the deaths of the brave soldiers fighting for our country are highlighted by the media. If you would like to donate I have attached the link for help for heroes.
